DirectFlow
In Artesian Hot Tubs, water is powered from our highly efficient Switchless pumps through high flow plumbing, that has no 90 degree bends, direct to the jets. This eliminates the traditional diverter valves and entertwined network of plumbing used on all other manufacturers hot tubs. This results in considerably less wasted and loss of power from friction.

Variable Flow Control
The innovative Variable Flow Control (VFC) changes the amount of water output. This allows a hot tub user to control the level of massage pressure by adjusting a spa-side control.
The VFC replaces diverter valves used in traditionally built spas. Unlike the diverter valve, the VFC does not steal water from one massage area, to provide more pressure in another. Instead, the VFC gives the user the ability to soften or increase the water flow in the desired section of the spa, offering remarkable massage control while retaining maximum potential performance.

With the VFC turned to Low the pumps are using 50% less electricity than all other spas with similar pumps!

Switchless Pumps
The DIRECTFLOW switchless motor design does not require a mechanical switch to take it from start to run, which greatly increases the efficiency of the motor. Switchless pumps are quieter than traditional pumps. And the design has the added advantage of eliminating 10 to 16 parts required in traditional motor technology that typically cause the most problems. Fewer parts result in greater reliability. So whether it’s convenience, cost of operation, reliability, or simply the overall experience, no other system in the market can compare to DIRECTFLOW .
